Matt Lyon

Matt is no stranger to the underground electronic music scene. From an early age he was blasting beats from his bedroom studio before branching out into hosting all night raves and intimate venue gigs. With a lack of decent club nights in the Highlands, Matt travelled the UK and Europe in search of new and exciting Techno inspiration. Now, after teaming up with likeminded DJs Findlay Hart and Lucas Manning, “RuckusRave” is ready to bring fresh new underground music to clubbers in the Highlands as an alternative to commercial clubs and tunes. Matt says “It’s all about the music, the people and the atmosphere” Dedicated to bringing techno to the Highlands his events have gone. from strength to stregth. Matt says “2012 was great year for Ruckus from supporting Gary Beck to all the club nights I played guest slots at. I have some exciting plans for 2013 so watch this space”

Forever pioneering new DJ technology, Lucas is always looking for new ways to make his sound that extra bit unique. Throughtout 2013 Lucas gained many residencies in Edinburgh and plays to crowds of 1500 on a regualr basis.

Findlay hopes to be playing gigs far and wide and thinks it would be a great lifestyle – traveling around gigs and festivals meeting like minded people and generally having a big Ruckus. Just back from traveling the gold coast in Australia this summer FIndlay is ready to hit up some big clubs! “See you at the next Ruckus!”
